We can trade with some NPCs, usually the owners of various shops, who are easily recognizable by the signs at the entrances.
It is worth remembering that these stores are open at certain hours, usually from 8:00 to 20:00. Moreover, each merchant will buy from us only those items that he sells himself. For example, a blacksmith will be interested in armor and weapons, but will not buy potions or materials for alchemy. This problem can be solved using the Merchant's skill from the Speech Tree, after unlocking it, you can sell any item to any merchant.
All you have to do is interact with the merchant and select the option to view their products. The entire window is divided into two parts — the merchant's inventory and the player's inventory. If we want to buy an item, go to one of the merchant's tabs, and if we want to sell, then to our own inventory. It is also worth remembering that the merchant has a certain amount of gold, if he has less than what your item is worth, you will not receive the full amount for the sale.
Each item has its own value — this is the amount of gold that we will have to pay when buying it or which we can count on when selling our own things. The cost of items is influenced by two factors, namely,
the level of the "Speech" skill - each of them improves our prices with merchants, allowing you to get more when selling and pay less when buying.
Unlocked abilities in the speech tree — here you can unlock 5 bargaining levels (bonuses are 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% to the price advantage, respectively) and attractiveness (increases the price by 10% when trading with the opposite sex).
Theoretically, a character with 0 speech level will pay for an item worth from 10 to 33 gold and receive only 3 gold for it, and at maximum development with the aforementioned abilities it will be 14 and 7 gold, respectively.
Price reduction
The prices of goods are not constant, as they depend on several factors. The price level can be improved by
developing speech — this is done by choosing special options for dialogue with NPCs and trading. When trading, remember to sell items one at a time, rather than, for example, 10 items at a time. The ability increases per sale, not the number of items you trade.
Items - A buff can be applied to some items, giving a speech bonus that increases prices. It should be borne in mind that exceeding the Speech 100 value no longer affects prices.
